DANNY AND NIR TOREN
When Danny Toren stepped foot on Australian shores back in 1983 in his navy uniform he fell in love with this great country.
After many trips back and forth from Israel, Danny relocated to Queensland permanently along with his brother Nir.
Both Danny and Nir had become qualified in valuing and sorting diamonds in Israel at the Israel Diamond Exchange. With this expertise and experience in one of the worlds largest diamond markets they decided to go into business in Australia.
In 1986 they bought Gemini Jewellers, a manufacturing jewellery company. An insightful experience that provided them both with the skill and knowledge of the manufacturing side. After two years they decided to concentrate on Diamonds and thus the Diamond Centre was born.

The History of
DIAMOND CENTRE
Diamond Centre opened for business in 1989 on the 28th floor of the Plaza in Queen St Mall.
Within three years, the business had grown expediently, creating the need for a larger premises. Diamond Centre relocated to its current home on the 1st Floor of the Royal Albert Apartments (the old Perry House), on the corner of Albert & Elizabeth Street where they still reside today.
Today the Toren brothers have offices in Hong Kong and Israel and the Diamond Centre has become world renowned for both its quality manufacturing and access to high-end jewellery and exquisite stones.
Across the Pacific, Diamond Centre continues to supply their esteemed clientele with breath taking pieces of superb quality. Many high profile clients choose to do business with Danny and Nir because of their solid reputation and commitment to quality in every aspect of their business operations.
Diamond Centre carries extensive stock in all of their global offices with an incredible selection of diamonds in colours D to N and clarity IF to P1. Over 90% of stock held in the offices of Diamond Centre is all GIA, HRD, EGL or IGI certified. This is extremely important for our valued clientele when considering such an important and lifelong investment.
